Default Brake Grease...

Does it matter what kind you get or are they pretty much all the same?
Thanks!

I don't know exactly what are u talking about.

But I guess you are mean the antisqueal grease/paste.

Generally I use permatex or the one supplied with brake pads. Applied on my index finger and then applied evenly (not excessive) on the pad back.

Also I clean with brake cleaner the channel where the pads 'ears' run. For stubborn dirt I use a robust brush or and old toothbrush. The I apply a really small amout of High Temperature Grease. I use Saratoga (italian product) High temp grease

Doesn't matter as long as it's high temp. I get the little NAPA packets for a buck.

I think I have a tube of grease somewhere, but I can't find it. So I keep getting those little packets.

I use any form of silicon grease on the brake slider pins, as they have to be compatible with rubber boot/seals. It is commonly referred to as brake grease.

On the pads and caliper contact surfaces, a good quality high temp grease is good.

Oh I see what maybe he intended for brake grease.
I use the same grease I discribed above on the brake sliders and boots
