brake master cylinder

Default brake master cylinder

hows it goin i need to replace my brake master cylinder on the big black round thing not sure what thats called but theres a punctured hole in that dont even ask how it happened but wondering can any of you lads give me an idea how to take it off as i would like to learn instead of paying someone thanks lads

Buy the service manual. In the US it's available from http://www.helminc.com/. Not sure where you would get it in Ireland.

The U.S. Owner's Manual has page devoted to the service manuals with pricing and ordering information. There is even an index entry for "Service Manual."

I suspect that it's worth checking the Owner's Manual in any country.

The "big round black thing" is the Power brake booster.

thanks for puttin me straight on the "big black thing" yeah checked all my manuals nothing on doing anything around that area of the car and there cant find any books that would help me over here thats why thought you boys could help
