Default Brake problems

I just put on Spoon Calipers today and of course, I'd have to bleed the brakes.

I went through a whole bottle of brake fliud and my brake pedal is still feelin spongey. Crank my car up, still feeling spongey and barely slows down when I do press the brakes.

Here's the process I did just to make sure I did it correctly.

-Buddy pump brakes.
-Buddy holds brake pedal down.
-I open nipple.
-I close nipple.
-Buddy releases pedal and does process again.

That's correct, right? I have two bleed vavles per caliper, should do both at the same time, or one at a time?

My brother mention bleeding the master cylinder, but I'm not sure how to do that, nor does the search function work right now!

Any advice will be awesome!

Try the Billman gravity bleed:

"By trial, I've found the best sequence is RF, LF, LR, RR.

Empty the master with a turkey baster.

Crack the right front bleeder, the level will start to drop. Get it a little lower, but not enough to suck air.

Fill the master to the very top with ATE blue.

Start with the right front bleeder. Attach a clear hose, and let it gravity bleed till it turns blue.

Repeat for the remaining wheels.

You'll have such a great brake pedal from the gravity bleed it will feel like the pedal is welded to the car smile.gif

I have used this procedure on countless s2ks. "

So, should I open both nipples at the same time? Cause there's two nipples per caliper

What does Spoon recommend? It's their product and not a stock Honda item...

Skip all that and go to harbor freight and pickup a a vacuum pump brake bleeder. Best 20 bucks you'll ever spend.

Once you use a vaccum bleeder you will never do brake or clutch bleeds without on. A must have tool.
