Default Brake Warning Lite in Dash

Hey guys,

The brake warning light in my dash came on and will not go out - and yes I've checked the parking brake. Is this lite a wear indicator for the brake pads?

The only time this happened to me was during a track day when the pads went from full to gone and therefore the brake fluid was low in the resevoir. Check your pad thickness and fluid level.

Either low fluid in the master cylinders reservoir, or the switch in the reservoir is faulty.
