Brakes, DC5 brembo to S2000
It will bolt right on the stock knuckle, all you need is a 7.5mm spacer to put behind the rotor. or you can get the DC5 rotor and have a machine shop bore out the center bore.
you also need the brake line from the civic 05-current

but are you saying that the stock dc5 front setup will fit straight onto the s2000, with a 7.5mm spacer to move the disc outward?
not sure about what rotor diameter but i have rotor from the dc5 and still got the s2000 ones.
Playground_the, can you explain in a bit more detail how to get the DC5 brembo's on the S2. What do you bolt onto the knuckle?
thanks

The dc5 brembo uses the same mounting point so it will bolt right on the steering knuckle
only problem is the Rotor wont be in the center of the caliper so you need 7.5mm spacer and put it behind the rotor to move the rotor outward
i would recommend you get extended studs since you wont have enough threads for lug nuts to catch.
DC5 and S2000 has a similar rotor diameter + or - 10mm
running on stock s2000 rotor will be fine.
pm me if you have any further questions. I will try my best to answer your questions.

it goes exactly where the stock s2000 caliper is, which is the outter side of the knuckle. rotor spacer is the only to get the rotor to centered with the caliper.
also we are talking about the DC5 type R brembo, not rsx nifiin

not true, there are not thread on the knuckle, the treaded part is on the caliper it self, the whole purpose of this thread is to see if its possible to run a DC5 brembo on the s2000, and how hard it is to fit it, and the answer is, as i said before, it is possible and very easy. all you need is 7.5mm rotor spacer and extended wheel studs. other than that, it just a matter of lifting the car, take the old caliper out, put new one in, bleed the brake and drive. no fab work is needed. and it is a straight forward mount. Im running this set up, and i put them in my self.
Its the hardware. http://www.racetechnologies.com/ Is the master distributor here in the USA. We got our setup from them. See pics:
