Ok im getting a new set of gears installed and i was just wondering what kind of oil to use while breaking them in? I shouldnt use a synthetic oil right? Right now i use 75w90 Amsoil SVG. What do you guys recommend for the break in period. Thanks.

i used a similar differential fluid mix, 1/3 lucas + 2/3 mobile 75w90 (s2kpuddydad recommended blending the lucas with your differential fluid)...

i'd say if you do the lucas mixture put the lucas in first before installing the differential 'cause it's thick/sticky as hell and it's a pita to squeeze it in. the regular differential fluid is water next to the lucas...
