Default Broken Pins inside Camgear

Has enyone ever seen something like this? Have some severe valvetrainnoise and could not find anything that could cause it. Until...anyone ever experienced something like this?

The engine is freshly rebuilt with oem parts. F22C, the only parts that were non OEM were Toda A2 Cams and Toda Valve Springs with spoon headgasket. I removed the cams after a few Kilometers because i thought they caused the valve train noise. Maybe those parts caused more wear or stress on the gears. But all in all not an aggressive setup.

I would suspect the cam upgrade combined with an improper installation, those parts don't fail on factory setups.
