Broken Valve!

Default Broken Valve!

Saturday I mis shifted and over reved, I didn't think that it was so bad but the next day this happend.







But thanks to Inline PRO now i'm going to a 2.2!!

Sorry to hear, but congrats on the upgrade! A year from now you probably won't be to concerned with the previous damage, but will be happy with your 2.2!

I only over reved for a second or too but it was bad, i got fully into the gear. i was going for forth and went to second. i claim this sig!!! j/k

Well, at least you're in a situation where you can handle this kind of thing without it being too much of a strain.

Was the car running OK immediately after the over rev? How far did you drive before the valve/retainer let go?

I'm wondering if you might have gotten away with replacing the retainers if you had stopped immediately after the over rev and had the car towed.

I over reved on friday night at 11pm, and the valve broke at noon saturday. but til then it drove fine, except for a rough idle. I drove it all morning.

Now i'm going to be running an ap1 with an f22 and an ap1 ecu, anyone have info on this setup?
