Default Bucking?

Hey guys, Ive only noticed this some times, but today it was doing it bad, but i think i know why....but anyway, what casues this? its only at like 1st and sometimes shifting to 2nd at low rpm..Ive noticed that its when the airpump is not on. Sometimes i try and launch and the rpms drop really fast then just starts bucking harshly....

Driver causes this condition. You are lugging the engine.

Nah, if it's the same as what happens to me, when I'm in heavy traffic for too long at low speeds, when I eventually try to accelerate it's like it bogs. Only way to stop it is to put the clutch in, rev it up a little extra high and plow through first pretty quickly. It's like it gets tired of going so slow and needs a good rev to clean it out.

^ yeh sortof like that, and I noticed today that my car was dying alot more than usual (it does sometimes b4 because o2 sensor is out, cel on) and it was bucking ALOT today....well poped the hood and noticed one of the hoses to the air pump was unhooked, so i think it has somthing to do with that

try tapping on your map sensor. Search for that. Same thing happened to me and i "tapped" on the map sensor and tightened my throttle cable and problem went away. might work might not work but should still try it.

Lack of torque at low rpms... give it more gas.

This is a typical condition. Disconnected hoses and gving the car more gas will exacerbate it.

Bucking typically occurs when trying to accelerate the car from a slow speed, especially once the engine has warmed up and may have heat-soaked. I experience this in my car when driving slowly around a parking lot. Use the clutch to smooth out the acceleration and the bucking will stop.
