I removed my bumper to install my CAI, now I find these two clips which I cant figure out where these go into the bumpers.



I need help where these goes. Thanks

Not exactly sure per se, but if its any comfort to ya, I simply left them off when I reinstalled mine with no problems yet... All's snug and secure and I've been down an interstate @ 80-85mph with no issues...

 

you guys are lucky, my entire front bumper is held on by 4 bolts at the moment.. cruised down freeway for 160+ miles every week and no problems..

 

never noticed those clips when i've pulled my bumper and ive done it several times

 

Thanks, I tried to install it without the clips, the bumper doesnt fit snug, so i have it off again

 

They are supposed to go inboard of the highbeam bulb, where the bumper attaches to the body between the headlight and the hood.

btw.. it is hard to get the bumper back correctly the first time .. =)

but here u go:

match the colors in each pic.. thats where they go.. the front bumper has a little hole over there.. that u put a bolt through.. do u remember taking that bolt off when u took the bumper off?
