Default Bumper Plugs and Bumper ?

I got a new bumper from Honda and had it painted and installed. I had a front plate on there but it got destroyed in my accident. I figured I'd just put my plugs I have back in, but when I tried they are too small to fit. Isn't there supposted to be a set of threads in the hole to screw the plate in? I can't recall what it was before. I looked thru the service manual but it wasn't in there under front bumper or license plate bracket. Anyone know what the part is call (or part # is better) so I can cover the holes in my front end?

yea you need to buy a pair of the threaded metal pieces that attach to the inside of the bumper. Then your bumper plugs will clip into these. They aren't very expensive.

You need part #10.

Go to your dealer or www.slhonda.com and navigate to it to order online.

If you had it repaired somewhere, go back and have them take care of it themselves

Are the holes the tabs fit into bent? You could use a nail and open them back up if you dont want to spend money. Worth a try at least.

yes you need part 10 and the bumper has to ocme off to get them in place. Get the shop that repaired your bumper to install them for free.

Thanks I couldn't figure out which part it was exactly. I'll probably call the shop Monday and have them do it.

They should of taken them from your old bumper and put them on your new bumper! Their mistake so take it back and have them deal w/ it! They probably threw them away by now so they will have to order you some new ones!
