Burned clutch

Default Burned clutch

Agh!! just burned the clutch on saturday. Had to tow the car to Honda. Car is a 2001 with 18500 miles. Is this covered under warranty, if not, whats a good aftermarket clutch. Thanks.

I feel your pain ... I destroyed my clutch during an auto-x event on Sun. Your car may still be under warranty. Mine is not so I'm replacing the clutch and flywheel with the Exedy Hyper Single Clutch w/ Chromoly Flywheel.

If your clutch is not covered under warranty I would definatley go with an aftermarket clutch. ACT makes a street clutch and a solid 6 puck clutch. I would go with the street clutch it has a sprung hub and will not engage as harshly as the 6 puck.

Sorry to hear. I have a brand new Stage IV Clutchmasters kit I'm selling for cheap. PM me if your interested. Same exact clutch system I have in my S.
