Pretty much normal. The motor design squirts oil on the cyl walls...not a bad idea on a car that revs to 8 or 9k.

The early cars do tend to use more oil than the newer cars.

Mine burns about 1qt per 3000 miles.

Do you have a TP? If so, very normal.

Crank vents can reduce the rate of oil use, but not elimenate it. As mentioned...this is part of the way the F20c engine works.

My Krank Vent Valves virtually eliminated all oil consumption..........and I had about a 1 qt per 1000 miles rate of consumption.

I love these things, despite the annoying chirping sound they make at idle. Well worth it in my book.
