Default A/C blows hot air

I was driving yesterday and turned on my a/c. I waited and waited and all it did was blow hot air out. The a/c worked like a charm the day before. Do i need to get it recharged or could it be something else?
Thanks
Fadi

There's alot of different parts that could break causing your a/c to not work. If you kno someone with a/c gauges you can hook them up to see how much pressure your system has. If you dont kno anyone with gauges then take off the blue cap by the battery and poke it a little with a key or something. If it has gas and the clutch doesn't engage when you have the a/c button on proceed to connect your a/c compressor clutch to 12v to see if it engages. It could be a relay, could be a bad compressor clutch, or it could be a bad high pressure switch. Given that your system isn't leaking..

If the system was leaking, would it be a clear lime green color liquid?

Yup, that would do it. That means that your system has always had a leak. That lime colored liquid is a dye mechanics put in the a/c lines to find a leak. It glows very bright under a black light.

Probably just a bad o-ring. Where did you see that dye? Chances are the o-ring closest to where you found that dye is bad.

I found it towards the front of the ac line(close towards the passenger side headlight, right after where the bump for the coilovers are inside the engine bay.) It was coming out from the black foam that is wrapped around the line.

Warranty doesn't cover rock damage to a condenser. If they did warranty the repair it was done under goodwill.

The OP's 00 has been out of warranty for 4 years. Take it to a shop that has the correct recovery and charging equipment to get it repaired.

DIY Air conditioning repairs are not recommended, you can cause more problems charging the system wrong, then to let someone with the correct equipment service the system.

This happened to me once in the CR-V.

I discovered that the heat dial was adjusted in the red zone
