my AC compressor is physically broken. can i just buy a new compressor or do i need a whole new ac system?

 

If it's broken on the side, it means it shattered and there all kinds of little pieces floating around your system. I had to replace one on a Civic due to this a while back and they did have to change out the whole thing. It was like $1200.

 

oh man that sucks. a new system for me according to Honda is 3500.00

 

All u need is a compressor.

 

car-part dot com and you will most likely only need a new compressor and dryer unit......but i cant be sure without seeing it
