A/C noise
I am hearing a slight whine coupled with a whooshing noise from the A/C inside the cabin. Presuming it is the A/C as it goes away when the A/C is switched off.
Curiously the whine increases/decreases with engine revs (A/C compressor issue maybe?) and disappears completely once the revs are up (say over 2500rpm).
This has been evident since owning the car, it is an 06 with 10k miles on it, all stock.
Anything to be concerned about? Just a slight annoyance at the minute.

You might find that the whining sound that follows your engine is alternator whine, which is generating interference in your car audio.
Your air conditioning will increase the effect of this, but try putting the aircon on and powering off your amplifier and headunit. I found this to be the case with my pioneer headunit (many of which are susceptible to this issue thanks to a couple of dodgy RCA fuses).

My 06 with 27K miles does the same thing. almost sounds supercharged lol. It sounds like the water that drips out the car while the a/c is on is like sloshing around or something. I've noticed it does it more while the re-circulate button on.

Same here on MY06. I have the wooshing noise from the AC evaporator area.
It didn't do that before I let a little bit of the freon out. It was over charged, and the head pressure was kicking off the compressor. I let a small amout out, and now thats fine, but now it "wooshes". I am going to evacuate it, bring it down to a hard vacuum (as best I can with my vacuum pump) and recharge. I think the wooshing may be it being a small amount too low on freon. Not enough for it to stop working.
If anyone knows what the wooshing sound is, and why it does this, let us know.

The "whoosh" sound you all are hearing is normal, what I think your hearing is the expansion valve controlling the amount of freon entering the evaporater. As it opens to let more freon in it makes a whoosh sound. The "whine" you describe is most likely coming from the serpentine belt or a pulley. Check if your belt is oem or aftermarket, its been my experience that gatorback belts whine.
