Default a/c rattle?

i have been noticing that there is a rattle coming from below my car to the engine. it only occurs in the low rpm, around idle. if i give the car a little gas, the sound goes away. and if i push down the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch, the sound would go away. i thought it could be the clutch buzzing but if i turn off the a/c the sound goes away. i have no idea what it could be. help, i'm just annoyed with rattles in my baby.

notes:
a/c on + clutch engage= rattle
a/c on + clutch engage + slight gas to 1300 or 1500= no rattle
a/c on + clutch disengage = no rattle
a/c off + clutch engage = no rattle
a/c off + clutch disengage = no rattle

help.

thanks.

im sure there is a quick fix to this. loose bolt or something any suggestions?

I've been dealing with something like this for 10 years now, but I just chalked it up to regular. My A/C is making hissing noises now occasionally, clutch makes noises sometimes. It rattle4s when I start it up. I hear mysterious rattles from time to time. It's just the way the car is IMO. My most recent rattle, was since I recently got a hardtop. When I hit a big enough bump, I can hear the soft top in the back bounce and make a noise. You'll never hear that with the top down with all the outside noises you hear. It never ends!!!

I swear this site has caused me more paranoia about my car then before I joined. I notice things I never noticed or cared about before. Now I'm becoming anal and obsessed with my car. HAHA

old thread, someone figure it out yet? 5 years was enough time to diagnose the problem, right?
