Default Cabin Filter Replacement

Does anyone know of a DIY cabin filter change post for an AP1? I saw one for an AP2 but it was a little different..
Or maybe someone can just help me out..

Do you have an owners manual? It's in there. There are some plastic clips along the front wiper cowel cover, remove those and lift up from the passengers side and the filter will be in there

i didnt check the manuel, ya i removed the clips but that plastic peice was still on there pretty good i didnt want to brake anything, also on the ap1 it seems that whole entire thing is all attached under the windsheild that you have to remove :/

Ohhh okay. There should be a white case thing that the filter sides into. That's the center thing. I removed both together by tugging on it if I recall.

Ok Ok so it looks like you pry the cowl cover up just enough to pull the filter out. Thanks for the help Jorden

Right. And be careful on reinstall that back of white plastic surround is secured. If you can lift back of filter, its not in right.

Be careful not to break the little clips that hold the rubber trim down (which also holds down the cowl cover). Someone figured out a 5mm socket is perfect size to push them up from the bottom without breaking them.

cool thanks for the tips, last night when i was playing with it those clips were a basterd, ended up putting the needle nose to them, i guess i got lucky they didnt break. ill the the socket
