Default Can the fun light be activated in non CR?

The 2008 CR model has a green LED that comes on when the engine is in the power band and I believe this is the same LED that turns red when the rev limiter hits. My question is, does anyone know if/how to get this working on the non-CR versions? I'd expect the light is still there and it might just be an issue of connecting a wire?

its in the stickies saying "modifry freebies" in the modifications forum

i cant copy and paste on the ps3 web browser but its relatively easy to find

". In the CR, a light appears on the dash telling you when you're making maximum power,"

THAT light is what I mean.

You need a light to know when you are making maximum power?

I was wondering the same thing, not because it's necessary but rather because the light is there in the first place. Given that the 08/09 CR and non-CRs are virtually the same engine-wise, it surprises me that the non-CRs have this disabled.

Hey now, it's a blinky light and if you could have it for free, wouldn't you want it?
