I have found that these double flex head ratcheting wrenches have been my go-to tools ever since I bought them. I have the 8mm - 18mm set and paid around 350 for it.
Anything like these?

I got these at Home Depot about 4 years ago. They're from the Husky PRO line, but I have not seen them since. They were about $80 for a 10,12,13,14,15,17,19mm set. They are great...definitely "go to" for me as they can reach pretty much anything as they pivot at the ratchet head.

Yrs but with 2 pivots at each end that allows it to turn 180 degrees instead of only 90 like the one pictured.

Yeah, I don't need spring compressors for these as they come pre-assembled. Some use the OEM tophats, for those you need compressors to assemble them.

Those wrenches are too cool. I'm not dropping $350 on a set, but $80 seems like a great deal. The amount of time you save in the long run is well worth it.

Also, I found a really cool site in my tool search. If you care about craftsmanship, as I do, this site lists all of the tool lines made in the USA. It has other sections for other things, too. http://www.stillmadeinusa.com/tools.html

crank pulley holder (50mm)

I could use this as I am getting ready to do the timing belt/water pump for a 2000 Accord. Does Autozone sell this or do you have to go online? Also would need a 20 inch extension for 1/2 inch drive. Sears/Lowes sell them for about $16.00

BTW, garagejournal.com has a informative Tools section.

I agree on (1) no tool snobs and (2) I like Husky tools better than Craftsman. I can't believe Craftsman isn't made in the USA anymore! That was the primary reason I went with them. Now everything at Sears officially sucks.
Most of the hand tools (like sockets and wrenches) are still made in the US, it's marked on the package when it is. Things like power tools or non-Craftsman tools are usually the stuff made in China.

Meh, you always get snobs no matter what the topic. Always consider the source.

I've got the honda wrench. Yeah, its overpriced but it makes torquing the filter to spec a lot easier.
