I don't know what's going on, but if my car is not warmed up its almost impossible to get into reverse and when I do get it to kinda go in it grins like a bitch. And also when I start my car I can hear a lite pop sound. What could he going on. It's also hard to get into other gears, but not as hard as reverse is. When the car is driving it shifts perfect. Anyone have any ideas?

 

theres a tsb fix. take out the shifter, clean and relube.

I'll bet you have a rusted spline or dirty/low clutch fluid/poor clutch adjustment. I have never seen a shifter grease cure this...not even once.
