I suspect there are different remotes depending on country. Mention of "facelift" is a clue you're not in North America so posting on a GB site may be helpful?

I bought a used one and transferred the guts from my old fob to the replacement one. It pries open pretty easily and snaps shut, the key fob isn't glued together. No programming necessary.
