Thumbs up Car is choking

my car;s problem started today. i press the gas all the way to the floor and it just doesn't respond right away it take a long time, when i hold the gas pedal down for a few seconds the rpm starts to build up, but while building up it misfires like crazy...........

it idles just fine, there is no check engine light either..... it will drive for like two seconds then it will just not accelarate anymore even though gas pedal is all the way to the floor and it just idles normal.

Check the spark plugs first.

i checked the spark plugs. switched them for another ones and still does not work. i push the gas all the way and it wants to die , plus it misfires... the car won't move at all. even though it idles perfect.
