Car keeps needing jump start?
If a car keeps needing to be jumped and even the HID headlights wont even turn on when the engine is off, what could be wrong? The battery should be good, but not for sure. Its not that old. Could it be the alternator? Could it be mod related? What else?
it could be that pluto is no longer considered a planet.
but your best bet right now is to have the battery tested and go from there.
if battery tests good, then test to see if the charging system is recharging the battery when the engine is running.
if battery AND charging system both tests good, then i would check for a parasitic draw.
after that i would check all battery cable connection. make sure all contacts are clean, secure, and tight.

whats a parasitic draw?
some of the bigger amp will suck the battery dry if it's not tapped right(ie: key switch on instead of constant on)
if that happens your battery will not be holding charge due to the loss, the battery life will shorten significantly if it's below charge most of the time. after couple of deep discharge your lead plate will never hold up a full charge.
another quick way to kill a battery is to by going to autozone and having them to jam in massive amount of "charge" in a short time. a dead battery will need up to a day's charge instead of 45 minute in autozone. those quick charge are bad for the battery, since it's free so everyone is using it(and not knowing it's killing their battery at the same time)
