Car pulls to the right only when accelerating---
Hey guys!
About three weeks ago, I got Espelier lowering springs put onto my S....
I got an alignment done that day and haven't really driven it since (outta town on the holidays, ride to work with roomates)
Tonight i get into it to go out, and the car pulls to the right (dramatically) ONLY under acceleration.
If my foot isn't on the gas, its completely straight.
When the gas is pressed its almost like tha car is twisting to the right beacuse i'm steerin to the left to keep it straight---
what could cause this??? is it possible that the guy who installed it put the two front springs on the right side and the two rear on the left side???
Could the alignment just be out now that the springs have had a chance to settle???
Why is this only happening durring acceleration?
---- ps, before i got the springs put in this has never happened before, and when i frst got it back when it was installed was like a 5 minute ride home, and I didn't realize it then either. (which is why i'm leaning on the settling causing the problem)
any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I dont see anything about you checking the tire pressure, this could most likely cause the pull you describe. Give the pressure a look and hopefully that takes care of the problem.

i had the same problem... it was tire pressure. the tires were only 3 days old, i didn't even think to bother checking them since they were new... it caught a nail... check it and adjust accordingly

i agree. i was sure it was not my tire cause that would make for the 3rd tail in my back tires and i had not won the lottery yet. i guess the the odds are just a little better when it comes to nails in one set of tires. ended up killing that tire

tire pressure, our cars are extremely sensitive to chages in tire pressure. Especially in the rear, if the pressure differs 2psi form side to side in the rear chances are you are gonna feel it. My guess is that you probably have about 12-15 psi in you right rear tire and the drivers side is at 30-32 psi. Just a guess but post the readings after you check them.

Or the alignment was done badly.
What you are experiencing is more grip from the left rear so it is pushing the car to the right.
Maybe a puncture as mentioned, but it could be camber or toe out.
Squat behind the car, do both rear wheels look at right angles to the road?
Has the right one got more camber angle than the left?
