Default car seems unstable after accident

well...couple weeks ago i was hit in the front right while parked.had to replace bumper right fender and headlight also the beem under the bumper was crushed and was pinned against the wheel.anyways i took it to a body shop they did a good job but whenever i'm on the highway going 75+ i can feel the car is very unstable + the steeringwheel shakes a bit.I told the body shop about this and they told me they put it on a lift and inspected everything and couldn't find any problems..So anyone know what else could've been damaged by the accident that could cause this...?any suggestions....?thanks!!

Peace
David

Get the car aligned and balance the wheels if you haven't already.

Yeah I did consider the wheel being bent, but i took a look at it when they had it on the lift and found nothing visible indicating anything was bent...

A visual inspection will tell you very little. Even the most subtle change in shape will produce a high speed vibration. The rim could be bent. The hub could be bent. The control arms to the hub could be bent. The anchor points for the control arms could be bent.
For all you know, your car may not be straight either. Unless you had it on a lazer jig, you just don't know. This can also affect the ability for the suspension to be properly aligned.

I have a tiny bend in the rear passender side rear wheel of my Lexus that is not even visible, but causes a noticeable vibration at speeds >65 mph. When I switch that wheel out with the full size spare, the vibration dissapears. Personally I would try swapping wheels before jumping to any other conclusions.

when the car was hit i looked at it and seemed like it didn't touch the wheel just the tire...Actually it was pinned on the tire.the beem under the bumper that is.maybe i have a bruise on the tire...could this cause the vibrations....?

Are you missing front strakes by anychance? My car shaked a little going 85+ and after getting the missing front strakes the shaking stop.
