Car won't start

Default Car won't start

Ok so i wanted to jump stary my s2k the other day and because i left over 2 months in garage so it wouldn't start. So i got my other car and my buddy conected the positive+ to the negatve- on my other car. But on my s2k was positive + to poisitive and negative - to negative. And there was sparks and then my s2k didin't want to start no more can someone help me maybe it is the battery or something else please help me. thanks

could always push start it unless you blew a fuse somewhere

Look for the master fuse or fuseable link. Probly $15-$20 part. My friend did the same thing to his Altima and that was the fix.

I went to Autozone and i took the battery and they said that you can't charge the battery so i got a new one and still doesn't work so i will check the fuses thanks guys for help

Next to the battery (closer to the nose of the car) there is a black plastic box. Open it and you will find the master fuse. It's pretty cheap and can be found at most parts stores.

I'm embarrassed to say this has happened to me twice in the last 5 years of ownership. Replacing that fuse got me going both times.

You've blown the Main fuse. It's 100A and held in with 2 phillips screws in the underhood fuse box.

NO, it is not under the dash. It is in the fuse box next to the battery. I know, I have one sitting right here as a spare. They are $6-$8 from the dealer.
