Default CAR WONT START

I took the car out of my garage , and it started up no problem ... I then shut it off to give it a wash. Then realized that i should move it more front into the shade...thats when the car wouldnt start... it cranks no problem but wont start ....
-Checked the fuses and everything is ok
-Smell gas when im sitting in the car but no smell from the engine bay
-no leaks underneath the car showing signs of a broken line

What could be causing this?

-I also pulled out all the plugs and they were a bit soaked in fuel- cleaned them and put them back , but nothing still...

HELP please someone

Hold the throttle WOT, then crank for a bit- this cuts the fuel so if your car is flooded, it will clear up. If it still doesnt work, idk - You got fuel, so its gotta be a spark problem. (if it started up right before that + its cranking)

i agree...lack of spark might be the problem.

it is odd that it wont catch a bit of ignition at all. Almost sounds like all plugs are not working.

Did you wash your engine bay at all? Do you use a pressure washer???

no i didnt wash the engine... I just checked the spark and its sending a weak spark...seems like only fuel is shooting into the cylinder causing the smell.... thinking it may be a crankshaft/camshaft sensor? or maybe even my motor just gave out somehow : ( ...where do i go from here?

I was thinking the same thing crazy, that maybe you got something wet (ECU?) Wait for a day, try cranking it again. If youre getting a weak spark, the sensors should be fine..it wouldnt send a spark at ALL if anything.

When you 'took out all your plugs' did you let the engine air out (let fuel evap)?

i took the plugs out and cleaned them , waited about 10 minutes and cranked the motor without the spark inside to let any extra garbage buildup get out of the cylinders.... should i have let it sit longer?

Do you have a heated garage? push it in your garage and perhaps let it stay warm for a day and evap off the water.

I am sure someone will post a helpful response...

I hope its not your daily driver
