Thumbs down Car wont start and cant jump it off!

Hey guys!
I know no one likes long stories about people complaining about their car not running so here is the background summed up.
I started my car up on the way back from friends house about 15mins away. On the way back my friend wanted to hear my exhaust so I WOT from 1st through 3rd and a little into 4th, and drove home normally the rest of the way home. I get home and let car sit for 15mins or so before heading to gym. Get in car and nothing happens when I try and crank it up. Lights come on and everything goes as normal except when I push the start button silence....but a fuel pump I believe.

This is how far I have trouble shoot
1)Tried jumping off and it would not jump off
2)Tried push starting, it started right up and acted as normal
3)Replaced the battery no change
4) Took off alternator AND starter and went and got it tested at local autozone. The starter passed. Alternator "failed" and made a weird clicking noise. However I may have damaged it while taking it off, idk. Because a failing alternator would be I would be able to jump start my car, and also I would think it would start with a new battery, and I would have symptoms of it failing.
5) Check SOME fuses under the hood and under the dash. I though it would be eaither "3, 4, or 5" under the dash but they all looked intact and fine to me.

This is my DD and any help would be greatly appricated!
I know s2ki is full of very helpful friends so please help!!

I don't think its your fuses. You may need a new alternator, but lets start with the obvious, how many miles is on your battery?

I'd suspect the starter if the battery is new, but they told you the starter was good ?.

There is no signal getting to the starter to make it crank over. Its a bad start button or clutch position switch or wiring from the switch to the starter.

if the fuel pump primes every time you push the button, see if hitting the starter solenoid works. some times the solenoid on the starter intermittently goes goes bad. Jack up the car, get an extension and hit the gold thing attached to the starter.

Had the same thing happen to me. There is a wire on the starter that is just a simple wire connector. Mine had slipped off. But since you took yours off its hard to tell....??

Update! The samething that happened to supahman04 happened to mine I would assume! After taking the starter off and testing it to be "good" I just put it back on and she started right up....tho I did break the very well known knock sensor......atleast its up and running again
