Default CEL 0710

hello so it is a ap2 2006. it had a misfire in cylinder 4 so i checked the sparks and they were due for a change. so i put ngk lasers in all four. i did notice some burn marks on the ignition coil. so i will change the coil to a different cylinder right now to see if i get a misfire in that cylinder.

CEl light is on and the VSA ! light is on and just turned off.. i will drive it for a while and see if it comes back on.

i plugged in the scanner and it gives me the code 0710. what should i do for this??
ill update shortly with more info and pictures of codes.

Double check your code number P07xx is for automatic transmissions.

Evidence of burning on the coils is due to improperly tightened spark plugs.

okay here is a update from yesterday, i re-torqued the sparks to 20ft lbs ( this is within range correct?) and i switched cylinder coil 4 to coil 1 to see if i would get a misfire in cylinder 1 and i still got a misfire in cylinder misfire code in 4. so i put the coils back and (will be ordering new coils to to them being slightly scorched) i did the map sensor whack trick and so far it has been over 24 hours and i have no cel. i will be getting a compression tester this week and check each cylinder to be safe and report my findings and if cel comes back on during the next couple of days.

thanks

also i am using the autel maxiscan 309
