Default CEL after clutch replacement

So I got my clutch replace a few weeks ago on my vortech s/c ap1. Before than I would do pulls just fine up to redline throughout the gears. Since I got my clutch replaced if I do pulls I would get a cel p1366 if I try to go to redline. If I shift at around 6-7k no cel. My question is what could cause this? Does replacing the clutch require you to disconnect the TDC sensors? I did a search and read a few times that these sensors are really sensitive. Any ideas/ advice?

They likely cheated when they did the clutch. Instead of loweing the subframe, they pried the engine back and broke one of the cam sensors or connectors to it.

Swap the sensors from side to side. If you get a P1361 (Code for the B sensor, exhaust side), you know one of the sensors is intermitting.

P1366 is for sensor A, I THINK that is the one on the intake side. Makes sense, becuase that is the one that sticks out towards the firewall and is likely to break during a hack-job clutch job.

Buwt if it broke wouldn't the cel stay on all the time? My cel come on only when I am pushing the car towards redline.

Its intermitting. As it goes above a certain speed, the sensor cannot read it.

Trust me

Either they broke the cam sensor, its connector or your connections to the Vortech timing controller are crappy.

Got it fixed. Thanks guys. I disconnected both sensors and plugged them back in. Than I double checked my timing controller connections. Took it for a spin and no more CEL.
