Hello, i been doing some research on my s2k and i read an old tread about the 02-03 s2k's that the gas cap does not fully seal the filler neck. I was wondering if this problem also occurred on the 2000 models. The reason is because my light keeps coming on and i took it to several Honda dealerships s and they want to charge me 850 for a full diagnostic . I paid all ready about 300 dollars and they have not been able to find the problem and they want to take the rear sub frame to check the gas tank. Is this a common problem with these cars?

but you shouldnt have to keep paying more and more for diag time.. but if you do end up paying alot.. and in the end.. make sure you find out what it was.. if it was something simple/easy and should be found within the 1hr charge .than make sure you get a refund imo
