Default CEL fix?

so here is my dilemma:

i hae a 2005 AP2. i recently had my new ACT clutch and flywheel installed by a reputable shop in san antonio, TX. it ran fine. the next day i was driving on my way to CA and the maintenance required light came on. i was thinking it was up for tune up and/ or oil change. Then 200 miles later the Check Engine light came on. i have since changed the spark plugs and nothing.

Can anybody help me!!!

Why would you change the spark plugs? You need to go to a shop or autozone or anyplace with a scan tool so they can tell you what code or codes you are throwing. Then maybe we can help you. You cant just fix the CEL if you dont know why its on.

What I would do is go back to the shop that did your clutch install and tell them to fix it because it was fine b4 the install.

BTW maintenance required light dosent just turn on it blinks for a while before it starts being on 24/7. Theres a diy on how to turn it off search for it. Maintenance required light is a scam just so you can go to the dealer and they can take your money. Do all your maintenance yourself like a real s2000 owner.

As Back says...get the code and search on that. If you can't find any threads on the code, then post it up and more than likely someone can help.
