Worth checking if it comes back. The TSB may be in the technical library here or on one of Honda's websites.

Yeah I’ve read a lot about the filler neck.
I just filled up today after a short cruise and noticed the cap took ALOT of muscle to unscrew. Then, it took a few times for me to screw it back on correctly, and tight enough. Looks like that’s gonna be my issue.

Here is the TSB I was thinking of, (see attachment).

I had this work done on my 02. Its solved the issue (CEL kept coming on). I may end up having to do it on my 03 as well because it is within the affected VINs listed, and the cap is sticking. Note that the affected VINs are listed in the TSB.

01 MY is not listed as effected, only 02 and some 03. So, this may not be your problem. You might just need a new cap? I'm not sure.

I had that evap code until I replaced the entire gas cap myself. I find it goes on tighter using the outside edges as a grip rather than the handle bit one would normally use.

Yeah when I cleared the code, I filled up and tightened the crap out of it. I’m still on the same tank of gas, and the light popped up at about halfway through the tank. Checked the cap and it was still super tight.

Im hoping it’s nothing major since I just bought tires and coils for it :/

This CEL is nothing more than an emissions fault. With all the guys running "test pipes" in lieu of catalytic converters I'm surprised this is of concern to anyone.

I just want to fix the issue if something else comes up, and the CEL is on anyways. I’d have no way of knowing.
