i installed a cold air intake and followed the steps from the site and looked over a few peoples pics. I have everything going the right way, but every once in a while the CEL pops on. I use to have a civic and there was a plug you could trip and it would flash the light a few times will the s2k do this if not i guess i need the obd2 reader. car runs the same and it rarly happens. didnt know what the deal was.. happen about 3 wks ago then just happen again to day. any help would be good.

Terminals 4-9 of the OBDII connector will flash blink codes.

You'll get code 60 if it's the vac lines.

You can jump 2 pins in the DLC connector or go to autozone and have them pull it for free.

theres a white check valve on one of the vacuum lines, common problem, could maybe have it backwards? that would usualy cause cel lights, after intake installs

Billman knows his stuff! If you don't know how to jump the connector to the noted pins then take it to any auto part store, as noted above. They will pull the code for free in hopes of selling their goods!

Utah

Note:
New Intake- Check check valve orientation. OK- Then check hoses. Some kits have 3mm hose which is loose and may leak (i.e. early AEM) on certain cars. If the interconnect hoses just slip right on then take them to the local store and go one size down. There should be a slight resistance. If the hose has taken a set then just cut off a short piece off each end. By the way, if you do replace the hoses, the new hoses come in COOL colors!!!!
