Hi. I recently just got a CEL light yesterday after I downshifted to 2nd gear, going about 42-44 mph. I gunned it and after a split second it seemed as if my fuel cut off around vtec engagement. (this is what my memory recalls, but my adrenalin did not leave me with exact memories). I shifted to six and continued to cruise on home. I'm not sure if my CEL came on right after I downshifted, or after I gunned it. My temp gauge was at 3 bars, and I checked my oil that day. It was still high. The next day I head to autozone. Warmed it up to 3 bars, and engaged vtec. It seemed ok. So the code came up P1259. I recently installed an intake and that's about it that I changed on the car.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

 

While driving yesterday morning, I noticed my CEL dissapeared. Anything I should worry about?
