so i got my car started after i put a new head on it, and i got codes, p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303, p0304. did a compression, it's not bad, 190-190-182-208. when i first started it the car was running really rich so the plugs are black but they are new denso's(can you clean denso iridums?), also the car has sat for 10 months so the gas could be bad(not sure how to fix that?). The car also idles at 1200 rpm and some times when i come off the throttle it surges a little. any help would be apreciated as i go for tuning sunday... and want it to be perfect. there is also a slight smell from the exhaust, not really sure how to describe it.

put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in your tank fixed my misfire in one tank of gas cost about 6 bucks.

 

adjust your valves..i see s2000's come in at my dealer all the time with missfire codes..99% of the time its in need of valve adj.

hello my friend, i was having the same problem and the same CEL's, so i start changing the plugs but nothing change, then i decide to check my fuel tank because there was a slight bad smell from the exhaust, so i take out my fuel pump and look what i found:

after cleaning that, putting a new fuel filter, cleaning the fuel injector filters, I put new gas and all CEL's dissapear.
