CENTER CONSOL LEATHER REMOVEAL HELP

Default CENTER CONSOL LEATHER REMOVEAL HELP

i have everything removed up until around the radio , i took the radio door and its housing out , now what? sorry i dont have pics ill take some tomorrow, but whats left to remove to get this leather freed.

If your trying to remove the center console: remove the shift knob (loosen nut underneath it first) and just pull up on the console. No need to remove radio cover.

are you talking about the center console cover? if so you need to loosen the screws for the panels behind the seats. possibly need to loosen the glove compartment also. once those are loose enough you can pop the pushpins out that hold the center console cover in

ah sorry guys i forgot to put LEATHER , i have it all out up until the radio i dont know how to get it out from there

i think you need to loosen the kick panels to the side of the radio

if we are talking about the same thing there is one phillips head screw on each side i took that out but don't know how to get them off , i dont wanna break anything, ill just have to get my honda shop manual back from my friend , but some tips and pics always help =)

once you get that screw out, two clips near the top of the panel hold it in

The removal of the side kick panels will not help. The leather thingie is being hold by the dash itself, the only way to remove it in a clean way is to remove the dash (yes, the whole dashboard).

The pragmatical way is to use brute force and pull the leather piece out (and rip the parts that are under the dash parts).

Thanks for the tips , well i recently switched over to blue/black interior so i have the blue leather center to be put it , i guess i cant rip that out cause the new one needs to nicely go into place as well , hmmm i guess ill have to save the project for a nice day when i got nothin to do lol
