Default Center console removal

My cigarette lighter plug came loose. Is the best way to fix it to remove the center console? If so, can you direct me to a site that shows how to do this? If not, what's the best approach?

You can remove the center console by simply fitting your fingers under the leather area part of the console and lift up. It'll snap off and run up towards the shift knob.

I think that Taylor meant the area below the center storage bin, not the center console.

It is very difficult to remove the storage bins without removing most of the interior behind the seats first. However, you should be able to gain access to the power outlet (there is no cigarette lighter in an S2000) by removing the plastic panels located behind the seat and immediately adjacent to the center bin.
