Hmm... gotta ask Billman if that makes a difference in the range of the TCT tightening piston. Some cars are sensitive to this. One-thousandth seems small...

I did it when I overhauled the head, it wasn't warped just wanted to make it flat. Probably didn't have to do it but no harm done

Started it up this morning no noise, drove to the bank on my way to work and when I started it to leave the bank it made noise for 2 seconds

No noise the rest of the day.

I'm off tommarow so I will try and record any noise noticed

Ballade. Or remove tct. Put back in. Might stop ticking for 1000 miles. Maybe less. Maybe more. I had to keep popping mine out and popping back in. Got a ballade sorts one. No noise so far.

There are some parts where deciding which one to buy is difficult, others are a "no brainer". The TCT, IMO, is one of those parts where there is a clear choice better than all of the rest. I won't turn this into a x TCT vs y TCT thread, but I think the TCT I am referring to should be very obvious.

Ok so I drove around this morning in hopes of getting a sound clip but no noise.
I'll go for a spin again later today
