hey i got a check engine light yesterday and when i did the read of it it gave me

6 long blinks then a pause then 6 more long and another pause and so forth

anyone got any idea what this is?? the engine light it not blinking it is steady

i own a 05

any insight would be great

According to the "blink code" list, there is no 6-6 code.

 

what i meant is that it gives the six then stops .

then it repeats

6 then stop

where is the air pump? does it have to do anything with the aem v2?

 

you need to get the specific code. without the specific code, we can't tell you what is wrong nor how to fix it. you need to read that thread that darkfx linked to you.

 

Maybe. If you start chasing things down based on "air pump" given by a blink code and not by the actual code, you might just be in for a world of hurt.
