Default Check Engine Light On Long Trips

Just last week I took a trip from Pittsburgh to VA beach. On my way down as i was going through D.C. (about 5 hours) the check engine light came on, I stopped and check the gas cap and re-did it. Light stayed on and car ran fine from what i could tell. A day later the light went off so i figured it was fine. Then on the way home about 5 hours of nonstop driving the light came on again, then a day later it went out. Any guess on what the problem could be and is it serious enough to get it looked it, still under warranty.

It could mean anything w/o knowing the code. Just go to autozone and get the code pulled and get back to us.

This sounds like a gas cap problem, but a code would be nice. Some of the codes are pretty vague though. I don't think any of the other triggers for a CEL correct themselves and then the light goes out. I could be wrong though.

Go STEELERS!!!!

Looks like it's a software issue w/ the ECM. From what I have gathered about the issue; all you need to do is take it to honda and get a software upgrade and that "should" fix the issue.

But reason for the issue is something w/ having the key in the ignition for 4 hrs and that's causing a bug in the software.
