Check Engine Light... on way to work
HELP!
This morning on the way to work I got the dreaded Check Engine light.
The car is an 02, completely stock, 30k miles.
The only thing I've messed with is removing the stock intake cover, to experience what an aftermarket intake might sound like. It's been off for about a week.
Concerns:
1) My stock intake makes a pretty loud "hummm" sound, almost like a droaning.
Stopped, or moving. On gas it's less, but slightly still there. Definitely coming from intake. Opened hood and stuck my head next to it.
2) When I start going from a stop, and apply little gas, the car rattles pretty loud!
As if something is loose on the undercarriage somewhere. Or maybe the linkage from the shifter into the transmission.
I know I should goto Autozone, and I will after work.
Any ideas at this point?
I will update tonight with error codes.
Thanks!

I found an Autozone nearby my work, so I'll be updating with Error code info. around lunch time.
I just visited Owner-Link.com from Honda.
According to the website, there are no recalls available for the MY02 S2000.
Then, I called a local Honda Dealership, and they told me the same thing.
Now I'm starting to freak-out.

OKAY! Visited AutoZone during my Lunch break.
Here are the results....
Two Error Codes, both the same code...
ERROR CODE: P1456
Evap Emission control sys leak detected
ERROR CODE: P1456
Fuel Tank temperature sensor circuit malfunction
What the heck do these mean.
Are they really indicative of what the error codes state?
Emission control, and Fuel tank temp. sensor?

Thanks shedrivesit. At least it's something I can easily correct.
Everyone, I'm freakin out right about now. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with my local Honda dealership, and the cost for diagnosis of the CEL is $99.
Let me know if I should consider anything else before going to Honda.
In fact, I'm so freaked-out that I think I'm gonna have them perform a 30k mile service!! ($300+)
What do you think I should do?

Guess what...Last night I didn't tighten my cap all the way!!
Sure enough, walked outside and the cap needed almost a full turn to "click"
