Default Check my retainers

I just done valve adjustment for my '01 F20C. Original retainers. I think they look ok. What do you think?

Pics don't work, got "This link was generated for another IP address. Try previous step again." when I tried opening one manually.
Try uploading them to the forum instead.

Weird that it seemed to work first. These file clouds are too clever these days
Should work now!

I will be checking mine tomorrow too.

If the retainers are healthy, the keepers (inner circle things) should be flush with the retainers, correct?

And if the retainers are cracked, the keepers will sit slightly lower than the retainers?

Thanks!

keepers don't sit perfectly flush with the retainer, but just a small amount lower- the above photos shows a subtle lip bevel.

to me, cylinder 2 on the left looks...um...questionable...but the shadowing isn't ideal. Is this an AP2 or an AP1 with already changed out retainers? My experience is AP2 retainers have a deeper inner bevel vs. AP1. Maybe Billman will weigh in for you.

My apologies with the less-than-optimal pictures, it was tough with the lighting (i was outside too, but this hood makes it impossible to take decently lit pictures)

1) This is an AP1 F20C motor with AP2 retainers/keepers on the intake side (thanks for asking, I've updated my original post as well)
2) If you believe me, they all looked identical to me in person
