Default Cleared light shorting out

So.. I parked my car outside of work today, and when I was walking back to the car, I was unlocking it (and the emergencies flashed like always..) Only my passenger cleared headlight housing (the ricks piece) was flickering. It kept going and then when I turned the headlights on, it went completely out.. Is the bulb shot or is it shorted?

If it's the bulb.. is it hard to replace?

Same with the short.. is it hard to fix?

Thanks in advance!

Shorts can be hella-hard to find and fix but, you don't sound like you have a short. A short = blown fuses most of the time. You sound like you have a bad bulb or dirty connection at the bulb.

I don't have an answer on the difficulty. I'd look in the manual.

Try changing the bulb first. Reach through the hole in the fender from under the hood. You'll have to work by "feel".
