We need more info. Does the clicking get louder or faster as you accelerate? Does it sound like it's coming from the front? Middle? back?

we need more details.

i have the same problem, i think its the play in the propeller shaft, i have the same problem. can anybody verify that it is the propeller shaft. I got under the car and started twisting the shaft and it'd turn maybe 1/4 a circle and stop, making a noise similar to what i experience when i back out of the garage and then depress the clutch.

this is what im talking about, where B is pointing to.

if the "clicking" gets faster with speed, it could be the diff.

I'm not sure what else it could be, but I know that it could be the diff. did you read the thread where another guy had this EXACT same issue? it eventually destroyed his diff, so he took it out and sure enough, had a tooth sheered off.

raise the back of your car and make sure the parking brake is off.

spin your back tires by hand, and if it makes 4 clicks for every ONE rotation of the wheels, it could be the pinion.

if the noise only happens once when your are switching directions from forward to reverse etc its just brake pad shift its normal it happends because of the slight gap between the pads and the mounting braket they sit on. this problem is really bad on crvs and pilot's wear u will feel them click thru the pedal not so bad on s200's just noise

Ill have to agree with Hondatech1, he is on the money. I normally listen to the music loud.....plus my exhaust isn't so quiet, but when reversing I noticed the same thing and thought it was the DIFF, and I got worried quick.

but I took it to a friend and he listened to it a few times and got a general location of the noise and quickly figured it out. And to my relief it was the rear brakes

anyway.........anything to fix it? Aftermarket pads?

Your breaks will normally make a "click" or loud crack noise if your car is at rest for a bit and then you move the car.
