I have this clicking noise like something isn't tightened sometimes when I go from a stop into reverse and when I reverse and then go forward. I remember reading on the board about a bolt that needs to be tightened last year sometime during the summer. I did a search but I couldn't find it. There was even a picture of a hand written note by one of the dealer mechanics. Does anyone know what the hell this is? I took it to my dealer and it came back with "vehicle is equipped with after market struts and shocks." --> That is a retarded statement in many ways. It was really loud last summer and now it is not super loud, it just sounds bad. I need to get this fixed and if any of you have any insight on what the hell is wrong, I would appreciate it. I had my dealer look at the CV joints and that isn't it. Anyway, any help would be great. Thanks..

there is a TSB on the cv joints AND a castle nut. It could be the castle nut, not exactly sure which one but my car is getting the fix on monday. Since its under warranty I didn't get specific about which castle nut.

My mechanic (NOT a Honda dealership service - thank you) looked at this for me the last time I had it in for work. He identified the problem in just a few minutes and was able to remedy it quickly.

He told me that there is a bit of brake pad shift when you change directions. I cannot verify this, as I would have to be outside the car to look while changing directions - and the shift is not THAT dramatic. Just enough to cause it to re-settle. He greased it up and......no more clicking noise.

My only complaint is that it needs to be re-appplied on occasion. It returned after about 6 months.
