Default clocking timing chain gear.

i have a quick question. when clocking the cam chain sprocket to compensate for a thicker head gasket (3mm) do u clock the gear that is on the actual chain or the gear that drives the cams? also clockwise or counterclockwise. thanks

You remove the solid pin from the upper chain sprocket. You don't do anything to the cam gears.
