Default Clunking noise

Well, i was driving and turned down the radio to pull into my driveway and heard this clunking sound coming from i am guessing the transmission. I am not sure if it is the transmission or not. So i backed up real slowly and heard the clunking noise some more. I drove real slowly and the car drove ok, but at lower RPMS and certain points on the throttle the noise would come back. If i take it out of gear and let it coast down the street, the sound goes away. It like a consecutive "Clunk Clunk Clunk" sound that repeats every second. I tried searching and didnt find anything that fit the discreption. Any thoughts on what it might be? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks
Fadi

Have a good look underneath the car with a flashlight.
Inspect the rubber boots of the CV's very carefully.
(are you lowered?)
Also look at the brakes, wheelwells, ect.
Maybe there is something stuck somewhere?

It like a consecutive "Clunk Clunk Clunk" sound that repeats every second.
So it doesn't matter how fast you are going?

Let us know what you find.

Makes no difference if i am going straight or turning.
I am lowered. I looked underneath and didnt see anything unusal. I turned the wheels with the car lifted, no noise. When i drive it comes and goes at higher speeds.

Here is a link to an audio file with the sound! Hope it helps in some way.

There is a box in the top right corner. You enter the 3 numbers and hit download and it should open it up.

I was driving 10MPH in 2nd gear in the audio going aroud my block.

Thanks again guys! I just hope i can fix this before Thanksgiving so i can go see my parents!

there is a 3 digit number in the top right corner. type that into the box and hit "Start Download" button. After that there will be another button that says "Click here to download". hit that and there should be a pop up that has an "open" button. Hit that and it should play it!

It sounds to me as if something is hitting the exhaust.
A hollow sound.
As fast as the wheels are going IMO.
Could be CV's as well I guess, you are lowered, did you use the spacers to put the CV's back in their "original" position?
Did you carefully inspect all rubber CV boots?

The other clicks are the seat belt... right ?

I did not use spacers. i read that i didnt really need them unless i am lowered a lot or track the car.
I am going back out to inspect some more i guess. I hope i find something and soon! Keep other possibilites coming.
Seatbelts and garage door closing at the end!
Thanks

I checked again, could this cause it?

The little rubber piece is broken on it. Could that cause this sound?
