Default Clutch adjustment

Hi guys,

Can anyone explain to me how to adjust my clutch? I think the issues im having with the clutch not fully disengaging may be due to the clutch needing adjustment. Im not a mechanic but if its something as simple as tightening up a cable i can do it myself. I looked for a DIY but i cant find one on this site. If anyone could post some pics of what i gotta do i would appreciate it a lot. Plus i want to learn how to work on my car more and not have to rely on a mechanic or the dealer. Thanks guys!!!!

Hey guys. I read this thread on how to adjust:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/index.php...&f=16&t=192881

I just have a few questions.

Here is my measurement on the clutch:

Fully Released = 6.2 inch
Encounter resistance = 5 inch
Fully Depressed = 2 inch

when I start the car and depress the clutch, I measure the distance from fully depress until the car starts to creep forward and that is at 3.6 inch.

Seem like my height of the clutch need to be raised higher??

All I am doing is rotating the rod. Can someone explain the freeplay? is that when the clutch is fully released and when you encounter resistance? is it optimal to get rid of that freeplay? i know there should be a little room for the hydralic to work.
